KTI President, Kevin Kerr Welcomes You!
Dear Fellow Trader:
The last bastion of pure capitalism on Earth, that’s how I always
refer
to commodities trading. If you are just embarking on your adventure into
the world of commodities and resource trading I congratulate you. You are
about to enter some of the most exciting and potentially profitable market
action that’s available in the world. If you are a seasoned veteran
of trading I want to help you gain insight and information to help you become
an even better trader, that’s my mission. My almost 20 years trading
commodities have taught me a great deal and I will share that experience with
you. Even better, the diverse experience of my staff and contributing
editors as well as traders and industry professionals provide hundreds of years
of combined experience. The future belongs to those willing to seize it.

Remember, risk is not a four letter word. Learning how to manage risk and overcome fear is what makes a top trader. Learning to take advantage of other traders fears and being able to see value where they can't, will make you a consistently profitable trader. At the start of my career back in 1989 I was lucky enough to start in the trading pits of the New York Cotton and US Dollar Index, I owned my first seat by the age of 22. The influence on my trading from the legendary Paul Tudor Jones was a big part of the early formation of my trading philosophy and watching him in the trading pit had a permanent impact. PTJ (that was his trading badge), has a specific view on risk and I have always agreed with it.
“There's no reason to take substantial amounts of financial risk ever, because you should always be able to find something where you can skew the reward risk relationship so greatly in your favor that you can take a variety of small investments with great reward risk opportunities that should give you minimum draw down pain and maximum upside opportunities.” - Paul Tudor Jones

I invite you to join us as we trade in the exciting world of commodities. It will be hard at times and also quite satisfying, one thing it will never be is boring. There is no need to have a crystal ball, just plan your trades and trade your plans. We invite you to join us so you can ‘See What Your Future Holds”
Again Welcome!

Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk of actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect actual trading results.

HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN INHERENT LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT ACTUALLY BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER- OR OVER-COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.
